How do I register to raise funds for Redkite?
Registrations will open in June for our 50 crunches a day in July challenge. Keep an eye out in the Facebook group for updates.
How does my fundraising make an impact?
Childhood cancer can be stressful, expensive and disruptive. These challenges can affect parents, brothers, sisters and partners. Your fundraising will help provide information and support, financial assistance and professional counselling for families facing childhood cancer.
Why do I need to register?
When you register to fundraise you will be set up with a Facebook fundraising page and with this, be able to share this with your friends & family to receive donations and also post updates on your crunching progress to let everyone know you are a crunching champion.
Are there any guidelines for fundraising that I should know about?
Yes, there are rules in each state that will need to be considered if you are thinking about holding an event or raffle to support your fundraising efforts. Your Redkite fundraising coordinator will help you with any enquiries you may have, contact us on community@redkite.org.au or 1800 733 548
Can people who donate get a tax-deductible receipt
Yes, people who donate $2 or more to your fundraising page will automatically have a tax-deductible receipt emailed to them.

How can I promote my involvement in the 50 crunches a day in July challenge?
Share your Facebook fundraising page with your friends, family, colleagues so they can sponsor you. Everyones support will help raise funds for Redkite's essential work offering practical support to families facing childhood cancer.
You can also post updates on your crunch progress throughout July so keep everyone encouraged to keep supporting you.
I would also encourage you also to make a self donation on your page as soon as you register. This will help encourgae your networks to follow in your fundraising footsteps.

How can I change the end date of my fundraising page?
Go to your page and click on the ‘edit’ button. Once there, you can change the end date, the description, along with the goal amount.
What if my friend wants to donate but doesn't have Facebook?
We will have an official 50 crunches a day in July page for people to support the challenge outside of Facebook. The donations made via this method however will not be able to be included in your Facebook fundraiser tally.
What happens if your donation don't appear on my fundraising page straight away?
Normally, donations will appear on your fundraising page within 48 hours. Contact us at community@redkite.org.au if a donation doesn’t show up.

Do I have to do 50 crunches a day?
This is your challenge, so you do what works for you. You can do more or you can do less. We find you might be able to do less at the beginning and more towards the end.
Do I need to show evidence of my 50 crunches a day?
No, we trust you! It is a great idea to share your progress on your Facebook fundraising page to keep your supporters updated and share it in the Facebook group to keep yourself and others motivated.
I am sick, injured or cannot complete the challenge of personal reasons - what do I do?
Feel free to finish early if you will not be able to continue the challenge, we are grateful for all your support
Is there somewhere I should be posting my 50 crunches a day in July?
There is no specific place we require you to post but quite a few of our fundraisers like to post in the group to keep themselves motivated! Whatever works for you, we certainly love to see them.
